Microsoft Dynamics 365 in Africa.

Africa is where our products were built and where most of our delivery record sits. For a multinational, the question is not whether Dynamics 365 works there. It is whether the compliance layer exists.

What is different about Africa

Tax authorities in many countries require invoices to be submitted at the moment of sale. Statutory payroll is its own stack of deductions per country. Currencies move, banks differ, and donor and funder reporting is a core finance task for many organisations.

Real-time or near-real-time e-invoicing mandates
Statutory payroll, social security and levies per country
Multi-currency exposure and local bank formats
Donor, funder and public-sector procurement rules

What we have built

DigiTaxFlow 365 for tax-authority e-invoicing. PayrollFlow 365 as a global, parameter-driven payroll, with published content for Kenya, Nigeria and South Africa. GovFlow 365 for South African public-sector rules. GrantFlow 365 and ProcurementFlow 365 for donor-funded organisations. DisbursementFlow 365 for controlled bank payments.

West Africa

For groups with entities in West Africa, PayrollFlow 365 carries published statutory content for Nigeria, and DigiTaxFlow 365's country list includes Ghana. Other West African countries are set up as parameters and connectors with you and your adviser, on the same group design as your other entities.

Nigeria: PayrollFlow 365 with published statutory content
Ghana: tax e-invoicing through DigiTaxFlow 365, as listed on the product page
Other countries: parameters and connectors scoped per engagement
Naira, cedi and other currencies on one multi-currency ledger

Where we are

Nairobi (Software Dynamics Limited) and Johannesburg (Software Dynamics SA (Pty) Ltd). Both teams work in the same time band as the African subsidiaries they serve. Country detail is on the regional sites.

Where to read next

Our Kenyan site covers KRA eTIMS, Kenyan payroll and East Africa. Our South African site covers payroll, PFMA and PPPFA, POPIA and Southern Africa.

What a rollout in Africa includes

Every regional rollout covers the same set of local-layer topics, each configured on the group template and confirmed with you and your local advisers.

Tax: indirect tax treatment, returns and any real-time or periodic e-invoicing submission
Payroll: statutory deductions, contributions and calendars as parameters, with ledger posting by dimension
Banking: local bank file formats, payment approvals and statement import
Data protection: access control, retention and processing agreements under local law
Reporting: statutory and group reporting, with translation to the parent's currency and standards
Language and calendar: local-language documents and fiscal-period handling where they differ

How an engagement runs

It starts with a 45-minute consultation, then a discovery and fit-gap workshop on your own processes. You receive a written fit-gap and a phased plan before a programme is agreed. Four phases follow, each with something you can use and review.

01

Discover

Process workshops, data audit, and a fit-gap against the standard product.

02

Design

Solution blueprint, integration map, and the extensions we will actually need.

03

Deploy

Configuration, migration rehearsal, role-based training, UAT and phased cutover.

04

Support

Hypercare, managed services, client portal, scheduled optimisation reviews.

What drives the cost: users, legal entities and currencies, integrations, data migration and the gaps found against standard. See how pricing works or run the three-minute readiness score.
